Day 1: Sacred Valley tour

The Sacred Valley is a vast area with many tourist attractions, so we offer two options to make the most of your visit. Both options start at 7:00 am with a pick-up from your Cusco hotel. Choose the option that suits you best:

Option 1: Pisac (Alpaca farm, Pisac ruins, Pisac Market, and Ollantaytambo)

We’ll start by driving to Pisac and visiting four main sites: Awana Cancha, where you can see Alpacas, Llamas, Vicuñas, and Huanacos, Pisac Archeological site, Pisac Market, and Ollantaytambo Archeological site. After having lunch in Urubamba, we can visit a brewery (optional) before visiting the Ollantaytambo Archeological center. Then, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.

Option 2: Maras (Chinchero, Moray, Salt Ponds, and Ollantaytambo)

On this option, we’ll visit the Textile center of Chinchero and the Colonial town of Maras. Then, we’ll head to the nearby Inca site of Moray, a magnificent series of terrace circles used by the Incas for experimenting with crops. Next, we’ll visit the salt mines that have been in use since Pre-Inca times. The views are breathtaking, with thousands of stark white pools stretching down the valley. Finally, we’ll head to the Ollantaytambo ruins, where we’ll spend an hour before taking the train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Visit Machu Picchu

This is the most magical day: Machu Picchu. We’ll wake up early to take the first bus up to Machu Picchu and see the sunrise over the ruins. Your guide will spend around 2 hours explaining the highlights of Machu Picchu. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the ruins on your own and hike Huayna Picchu Mountain if you have booked this option (this requires a separate entrance ticket that costs $65 per person). Finally, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus back to Cusco. Upon arriving in Cusco, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel.
